Sarah Geronimo LIVE IN LAS VEGAS
This concert was differently a major hit in the eyes of the Filipino
community in Las Vegas. Dub the Sarah Geronimo US Tour Part 2, she
has not disappointed any of her fans on this tour. In fact the Vegas
show was a surprise hit with the fans as Sarah actually went down
into the audiences during one of her songs, something that she dose
very rarely at her concerts.
Of course the other stars, Mark Bautista, Kris Lawrence and Jimmy
Marques, kept the audiences on the edge of their seats during the
night, with their great performances also.
Mark Bautista also known as the “Pop Heartthrob of the Philippines”
sang popular songs like “lonely no more” and “Breathe”. His duets
with Sarah blended perfectly and sounding like a very seasoned
performer.
Kris Lawrence, the grand champion of “Search for a star in a
Million” proved he is great up and coming performer. During his
songs he would throw tightly rolled t-shits, out into the crowd
which created a frenzy among the audience. His R&B style was hip and
young along with his energetic performance.
Singing to perfection was Jimmy Marques with “Gulong ng Palad”, a
sentimental ballad, which he added a soulful rendition of the song.
His style is a mixture of pop and ballad and judging from his
performance, he sure will have a successful career ahead.
But the night belonged to Sarah. Her repertoire of songs was
electric and showed her versatility as a performer. Singing songs
from her new album “I want to Know What Love is” like “forever is
Not Enough” and “Only” along with a number of songs from her highly
watched soap series “Butuing Walang Ningning” was a crowd pleaser of
the night.
For her finale, she did the song that started it all, cover of Cline
Dion’s “To Love You More”, Her winning piece for “Star of the Night”
contest.
After the concert the four stars signed autographs and took photos
with their fans, making this a most enjoyable event in city of
lights, LAS VEGAS |
